In February 2016, the Tempo team made a trip to Cambodia to construct homes for the needy. After a 1,300 km journey from Phnom Penh to Siam Reap, enduring heat exhaustion and lots of enormous insects, the team arrived in a village in the Kampot area. Here they constructed two brand new homes and gifted them to two local families consisting of elderly grandparents and young children.
The trip was tough but immensely rewarding, and was all worth it just to see the looks on the families’ faces when they found they had a new place to call home.
The Tempo team would like to extend their deepest thanks to Global Village Housing and Cambodian Motorbike Tours, without whose help the venture would not have been possible.
